The health authorities should effectively respond to the new COVID-19 variant found in the country, the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) today said.
GMOA Editor Dr. Haritha Aluthge said the association has been repeatedly urging the authorities to expand the facilities available in the country to identify new variants and to speed up the process.
