President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today requested authorities not to take ad-hoc decisions with regard to declaring/lifting curfew or isolation at regional levels.
Rajapaksa taking to his twitter account said the authority to take such decision was vested with the highest level of Government.
"Declaring/lifting curfew or isolation, is a decision made after analyzing all critical data at the highest level of Govt. Any data that’s relevant to this decision making, must be shared with COVID-19 Presidential Task Force,"Rajapaksa's twitter message read.
