Minister of Trade, Bandula Gunawardana inspected the preparations for the distribution of Sathosa relief packages at the Mega Sathosa outlet in Ratmalana yesterday (29).
With the support of the Co-operative Wholesale Establishment and other organisations, Sathosa relief packages are being jointly distributed by Lanka Sathosa outlets and the District Secretariats island-wide to people in isolated areas, quarantined families, and to those who were affected by recent floods.
The Minister further notified that customers can receive Sathosa relief packages priced at Rs. 500 or Rs. 1000, or a list of items as per their requirement by contacting Sathosa hotline number 1998. He also said that they have the option to use www.lankasathosa.lk for online service as well.
