The torrential rains fell in Colombo over the last week has prompted Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) to reschedule the current series between Sri Lanka and Bangladeshi ‘A’ teams, the SLC announced on Wednesday, 25 September.
The Bangladesh ‘A’ cricket team arrived here on Wednesday, 18 September to play two four-day unofficial Tests and three ODIs.
It was only on Tuesday that SLC called off the two teams’ first unofficial four-day Test at Katunayake after its second day too was washed off entirely even before the toss was made.

30 September to 3 October: 2nd four-day Test at Galle Intl. Stadium
7 October: 1st ODI at MRICS, Hambantota
9 October: 2nd ODI at MRICS, Hambantota
