The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) announced on Saturday (9) that all licenced banks are to be opened for regular banking business on 11 and 12 April 2022.
The announcement was made by the Communications Department of CBSL, following the declaration of the Government of Sri Lanka that 11and 12 April would be public holidays.
Additionally, 13, 14, 15, and 16 April are also holidays due to the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, Good Friday, and Bak Poya Day.
