Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa has been mooted as a possible candidate for the 2020 Presidential elections.
Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa told reporters today that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has not selected a Presidential candidate from the joint opposition.
He denied reports that Basil Rajapaksa had been selected as the Presidential candidate for the joint opposition.
