BCCI turns sterner on ‘age fraud’

04 Aug 2020

Age fraud is becoming a nuisance for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). 236 players have been suspended in the last two years for committing age fraud. Therefore yesterday (3), it proposed the most stringent countermeasures ever with a view to eradicating the menace. Now, the BCCI-registered players in the domestic Under-16, 19, and 23 age groups can tell the truth or face a ban of up to two years.
