The Chinese State Councillor and Defence Minister, General Wei Fenghe met President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo this morning (28).
The General stated that the fruitful bilateral talks between the President and himself will further strengthen relations between Sri Lanka and China.
General Wei Fenghe was received upon arrival at the Presidential Secretariat by the Secretary to the President P.B. Jayasundera and Foreign Secretary Admiral (Retd.) Prof. Jayanath Colombage.
Before departing Sri Lanka tomorrow (29), General Wei Fenghe is also expected to meet Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa later today (28).
