Ceylon Chamber to discuss 'Progress as a Nation'

To discuss the current divisions and mistrust in society, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is bringing together an eminent panel representing a cross section of leaders from diverse communities. The discussions will focus on the impacts on the country’s economy, and include community perspectives. The event will be held on 18 July 2019 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Liberty Ballroom, Ramada Colombo. The speakers will be Central Bank of Sri Lanka Governor Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy, MP M.A. Sumanthiran, John Keells Holdings Deputy Chairman and Group Finance Director Gihan Cooray, LAUGFS Holdings Chairman W.K.H. Wegapitiya, Ferial Ashraff, and Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement President Dr. Vinya Ariyaratne. The discussion will be moderated by former Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Suresh Shah.
