National Construction Association to hold Construct 2019 in August

23 Jul 2019

National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) announced that Construct 2019, Sri Lanka’s premier construction exhibition, will be held on 23-25 August 2019 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Hall in Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). The 2019 edition is presented with the theme of “Build Smart – Live Smart” as a revolutionary high-tech, smart, future-shaping, and consumer-focused event. The exhibition will expose visitors to the vast number of choices and alternatives in housing and construction streams, with close to 250 trade stalls including reputed brands as partners. Among these, there are some of the best brands from countries such as China, Malaysia, Singapore, and India and they will showcase their products and services directly or through local agents. NCASL Chairman Susantha Liyanarachchi, speaking at the occasion, said that it was a tremendous achievement to successfully complete 19 years and 2019 marks a new era for the exhibition. He highlighted that the exhibition is highly focused on segmentation and is specifically focused on consumer needs, with the strong belief that a solid foundation with high-quality service is the key to success rather than organising just a construction fair. BMICH Director/CEO Sunil Dissanayake emphasised that BMICH always extends maximum support to NCASL, with the long-lasting relationship to conclude the 19th edition of their successful Construct event. Dissanayake also mentioned that the proper arrangements are in place to ensure the security of visitors and all other stakeholders. BMICH always commits to provide that as the prime facilitator for events in the country. Even after the Easter attack, there were many events conducted so far without any hassle or incidents, Dissanayeke further explained.
