HNB opens priority banking centre in Maharagama

HNB PLC continued the expansion of its exclusive Priority Circle service with the launch of another priority lounge in Maharagama in order to cater to the rising demand from a growing segment of high-net-worth clients in the region.

Offering a highly-personalised and exclusive banking experience, the new priority centre will also provide members access to a host of unique benefits, including access to competitive rates on foreign currency issuance, free internet and mobile banking facilities, and a comprehensive range of wealth and legal advisory services. Additionally, members can access insurance and travel concierge services as well as meeting room facilities at these centres. Moreover, the bank also provides Priority Circle members with their choice of specially-designed overseas medical insurance plans, payable even on an instalment basis through the pre-approved branded credit card, which is an entitlement for all priority customers with no joining fee.

These benefits will be supported with a team of dedicated relationship officers who will be on hand to assist each member and extend HNB’s fullest support in meeting their every banking need.
Commenting on their latest addition to the Maharagama region, HNB Deputy General Manager – Retail Banking Sanjay Wijemanne said: “As a city with a large and growing population that is also home to numerous dynamic private institutions as well as a booming private sector apparel industry, Maharagama today has developed into a vibrant economic, medical, educational, transportation, and retail hub, and with this level of activity comes greater prosperity. Our move to launch another priority centre in this region, therefore, signals HNB’s commitment to extend our fullest support to our most valued customers in Maharagama.”

He further noted that the addition of a priority centre in Maharagama was part of its wider efforts to cater to the rapid economic and urban development taking place in Maharagama, particularly in relation to a large and growing base of corporate and retail customers in the region.
