Expressing his appreciation of the long-standing relationship with Prestige Automobiles, Wehner said: “Sri Lanka is a fast-growing market with immense potential. Therefore, we are delighted to continue our successful collaboration with Prestige Automobile to further strengthen the brand’s presence in the country. We are confident the team is well equipped to deliver an exciting, engaging, and enriching brand experience to our customers for years to come.” Prestige Automobile achieved the best year-on-year growth in the entire Asia-Pacific region in 2018 and received the highest scores in the group’s international retail standards audit. Emphasising the importance given to maintaining the exacting standards set by BMW Group, and the BMW Sri Lanka team’s commitment to exceeding expectations over the years, Prestige Automobile Director – Sales and Marketing Niranga Peiris said: “Prestige Automobile has consistently maintained a customer-centric culture to ensure the precision of German machinery of BMW is kept in the best shape, with constant investment into developing service capabilities. The visit in September of this year by the BMW Asia leadership was a further endorsement of their commitment to Prestige Automobiles – the only certified agent to sell or repair BMW cars in Sri Lanka according to BMW stipulated global standards – to enhance our capacity and support the international certification of our sales and after-sales staff. The group also takes active ownership to develop the product and technical knowledge of our BMW Sri Lanka staff to enhance the overall customer experience.” The year 2020 will mark 25 years since Prestige Automobile got behind the wheel.
