The secretaries for the Browns Investments PLC (BIPLC) of the LOLC Corporate Services (Pvt.) Ltd. informed the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) in corporate disclosure that Browns Investments PLC has acquired 9.99% of the ordinary voting shares of Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB) on Tuesday (4).
The Browns Investments disclosed this according to the Listing Rules of Section 08 of the CSE.
Accordingly, as of the date of this disclosure, a total of 42,024,032 shares have been acquired whilst the price has been ranged between Rs. 125.75- Rs. 132.25 per share by BIPLC.
HNB is a private sector commercial bank and the fourth largest bank in Sri Lanka, managing 251 branches across the country.
