The most notable thing about the property is that not only is it a fantastic space to chill, unwind, or even host brainstorming sessions in the comfort of one of their two meeting rooms or shared workspaces, it has its own enormous jungle gym dedicated to kids. A unique concept The café wishes to promote their focus on the importance of work as well as play. Whether involving entrepreneurship or art, Coffee Rooms believes that everyone needs a space to construct ideas. Providing that “all work and no play” is not an ideal Coffee Rooms lives by, the café hosts a dedicated, enclosed kids’ area perfect for anyone wanting to spend some quality time with their kids or for those who wish to let them loose on the enormous jungle gym while enjoying their antics over a cup of coffee. The kids’ area is located on the upper floor and the ground floor houses the designated café area. This makes certain that the children will be allowed their freedom without hassling any of the café’s patrons. In this regard, it could probably be said that Coffee Rooms is one of those rare coffee houses in Colombo that has deftly balanced the ambiance of a cozy coffee joint with a functional kids’ play area. The menu As for the menu, in addition to the mandatory coffee offerings, like any self-respecting coffee house, Coffee Rooms also serves up a range of frappés, shakes, and smoothies with a choice of international flavours as added options. They also serve a variety of snacks and meal items like pasta, the latter of which was actually quite good. But their real focus is on bite-sized snacks with added crunch.
