The Budget for the year 2021 is scheduled to be presented to Parliament at 01.40 p.m. today (17).
It will be presented to the House by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The Second Reading debate of the Budget will take place over four days, from 19-21 November, as decided.
During these days, the budget debate will be held daily from 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and the vote for the Second Reading is scheduled for 5 p.m. on 21 November.
The committee stage debate will be held from 23 November to 10 December.
The vote for the Third Reading will take place on 10 December at 5 p.m.
