The police today requested all buses including private and SLTB buses to display the bus number inside the bus in order to help tracing contacts of COVID-19 patients.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the passengers should note down the number of the bus they travel in.
“In case a COVID-19 positive person has travelled in a bus, knowing the bus number will be helpful when notifying the others and tracing contacts,” he said.
