The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to the appointment of a committee under a retired High Court judge to probe the alleged incident where inmates at the Anuradhapura Prison were threatened by former State Minister for Prisons Lohan Ratwatte recently, Justice Minister Ali Sabry informed parliament today (22).
Sabry took the opportunity to empathise with the victims of the incident and also condemn the behavior of Ratwatte which had taken place at the Anuradhapura Prison Complex.
