The Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) cautioned against legalising cannabis in the current climate of Covid-19.
“With the adverse effects of smoking and Covid-19, it is not the proper time to make cannabis use legal,” SLMA President Dr. Indika Karunatilake told The Morning.
He also pointed out the rampant drug abuse among the youth.
