Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith today requested the devotees to restrict movement to and fro Colombo during the festive season and give priority to religious observances during Christmas.
He said the priests in non-isolated areas have been allowed to conduct Mass for not more than 50 devotees at a time in line with health guidelines.
The Midnight Mass on the 24th to commence from 6 pm and continue on a hourly basis in the Western province.
