Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith says that a letter will be sent to the President today (13) containing the Cardinal's views on the current situation of the Easter attack as well as its investigations.
He made this observation at a press conference held at the Archbishop's official residence today.
"I am handing over a letter to the President today. This document was prepared after analyzing the investigations into the Easter attack. We hope for a more active investigation," he said.
Speaking further, the Cardinal said, "We concluded that the situation regarding the Easter attack is a major obstacle to the security of the country. We informed all political parties about it. We cannot say that the leadership is conducting these investigations in a way that satisfies us to this day. If the government or those institutions think that, they deceiving themselves, we will not end this struggle here. "
