The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has submitted the deposit on behalf of its Presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa today. SLPP Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam paid the deposit at the Elections Commission. Meanwhile,  three candidates made deposits yesterday(19) for the forthcoming presidential elections, namely Jayantha Ketagoda – Independent candidate, Siripala Amarasinghe – Independent candidate and  Dr. Ajantha Perera of the  Socialist Party of Sri Lanka Accepting deposits for the Presidential Election 2019 commenced yesterday and is set to conclude at 12 noon on the 06th of October.
