Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga will sign an agreement with the United National Front tomorrow.
The agreement is to be signed at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe is expected to attend the event.
Kumaratunga will extend her support to the United National Front at the 16 November Presidential polls.
The former President had opposed the SLFP's decision to back SLPP presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapakse at the forthcoming elections.
Lately Kumaratunga has been having discussions with SLFP MP Welgama who has vehemently refused to join the SLPP in order to protect the SLFP.
