The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers Union (CEBEU) has planned on taking strong Trade Union action against the proposed Electricity Act Amendment that stops competitive tendering for power projects which is due to be taken up in parliament on the 9th of June.
This was made known by the CEB Engineers Union today (06).
Further, the Union stated that they intend to take action against giving all local Poonerin and Mannar wind resources to the Adani company at a very high rate.
