The Chinese coronavirus (COVID-19) patient who was diagnosed in Sri Lanka was discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) a short while ago.
The 43-year-old woman, who arrived from Hubei Province China, tested positive for coronavirus on the 27 of January and was admitted to the IDH in Angoda.
The woman had shown symptoms of the virus when she was about to leave Sri Lanka and return to China.
The Chinese national who is fully recovered is to leave for China today.
