The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is currently carrying out a data analysis operation through a vast source of digital equipment which has been found to be related to the Easter Sunday bombings.
In a statement made today (30), Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that the CID is looking into more than 1,800 telephone conversations between the Easter Sunday bombers and others in connection with those individuals.
In addition, the CID will also be carrying out data analysis operations on 23 laptops, 3 personal computers, 138 mobile phones, 30 hard disks, 12 pen drives and 142 SIM cards which were confiscated from those individuals who have been found in connection to the Easter Sunday attacks the SP stated
