The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Director has sent a name list of 710 CID officers to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Police Spokesperson SSP Ruwan Gunasekara confirmed.
Gunasekara said the BIA will inform the Police if any CID officer is travelling abroad.
This measure comes after Inspector of Police(IP) Nishantha Silva attached to the CID left the country yesterday without any prior approval from the Police.
