CID officials recording statement from MP Ashok: Police

The officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are currently recording a statement from SJB MP Ashok Abeysinghe, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said the CID launched an investigation into the speech made by MP Abeysinghe in connection with Easter attacks.
Six MPs made a complaint over the speech at the CID.
"The MP arrived at the CID at 9.30 am and a statement is being recorded by the CID officials," he said.
