The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has been granted permission to record a statement from IGP Pujith Jaysaundara who is currently warded at the Narahenpita Police Hospital.
The Fort Magistrate, Ranga Dissanayake granted approval to the CID based on requests made by them.
