Eleven students had been injured in a clash between two groups from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Jaffna last night (24).
The conflict had been the result of a heated dispute between a few senior students and freshmen.
Nine students were later admitted to the Kilinochchi Hospital for sustaining injuries as a result of the brawl.
The security forces stationed in Kilinochchi had told the media that there had been no complaint filed with the Police regarding this incident.
