The government today "blamed" the public for the mandate they had been given saying it was because of that mandate that there is a coalition government in place.
Speaking at the Economic Summit in Colombo today, State Minister of Finance Eran Wickremeratne noted that the public had given them a coalition mandate and that is why there is a coalition government in place today.
He says while some people blame the government for the indecisiveness in the government it should be the public who should be blamed as they wanted a coalition government.
