A court case has been filed pertaining to the cracks in the walls reported in the Gem and Jewellery Authority building which has also partially sunk, Kollupitiya Police Station OIC Sumith Gunaratne told The Morning today (23). The case is expected to be taken to court tomorrow (24).
This situation has reportedly arisen due to a new building being constructed near the building where the Authority is located.
