The Appeal Court has ordered Acting IGP C. D. Wickramaratne to take legal action against those transporting sand & rubble without permits.
A case was filed by the Center of Environmental Justice with the Court of Appeal seeking an order to suspend a cabinet decision taken on the 4th of December last year to abolish the permit system.
