Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake has ordered the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to enforce the arrest warrants against former Central bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran and Ajahn Gardiya Punchihewa.
Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake issued this order to the CID today (17).
Former Central Bank Governor and Punchihewa are suspects in the infamous Central Bank Treasury Bonds scam.
The Attorney General yesterday (16) informed Court that the INTERPOL had informed that Arjun Mahendran had changed his name to Harjuna Alexander.
