Covid-19: 465 more patients recover

The Ministry of Health last evening (24) said 465 more individuals previously diagnosed with Covid-19, made complete recoveries. The new development brings the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country to 14,962 as of last night. Sri Lanka’s confirmed infections count meanwhile stood at 20,795. The Epidemiology Unit said 5,743 active cases were still under medical care at the time. According to the situation report, the following hospitals have reported the latest recoveries:  
  • National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) – 11
  • Welikanda Base Hospital – 20
  • Iranawila Hospital – 8
  • Colombo East Base Hospital – 2
  • Dr. Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital – 45
  • Hambantota District General Hospital – 6
  • Kamburugamuwa Hospital – 7
  • Kattankudy Hospital – 6
  • Teldeniya Base Hospital – 9
  • Homagama Base Hospital – 12
  • Ambanpola District Hospital – 1
  • Lunawa District Hospital – 2
  • Ingiriya District Hospital – 2
  • Kosgama District Hospital – 4
  • Dankotuwa District Hospital – 8
  • Pimbura District Hospital – 6
  • Karadiyanaru District Hospital – 3
