The Ministry of Health said 67 individuals who previously tested positive for Covid-19 were discharged from medical care as they made complete recoveries.
According to the situation report, 12 at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), two at the Welikanda Base Hospital, 25 at the Kattankudy Hospital, eight at the Teldeniya Base Hospital, nine at the Homagama Base Hospital, and one at the Galgamuwa Base Hospital have returned to health.
This new development brings the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country, as of last afternoon (29), to 4,142. Meanwhile, the number of Sri Lanka’s confirmed cases stood at 9,205. However, 5,044 of them were still under medical care.
