A female aged 59 from Kotahena has tested positive for COVID-19 this morning (15) , bringing the number of total cases to 238 in the country, the Health Ministry said.
It has been revealed that the patient in concern had traveled to India recently.
Sri Lanka has reported 63 recoveries so far, while over 100 individuals are currently under observation at selected hospitals.
The country’s death toll stands at 7.
