Three more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 a short while ago, raising the total number of cases in the country to 765.
This is in addition to the 11 Covid-19 cases reported earlier today.
Meanwhile, 16 more Covid-19 positive patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals, raising total number of recoveries to 213, the Health Ministry said.
Sri Lanka reported its 9th Covid-19 death today .
The diseased was a 52-year-old man, a coronavirus-infected patient, who died while receiving treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH).
