More areas of the Colombo District will be under isolation orders from today (16) onwards, according to Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva.

Accordingly, the Maradana, Fort, Pettah, Slave Island, and Dam Street areas in the Colombo District will be declared isolated areas until further notice.
The order will be in effect from 5 a.m. onwards the Army Chief said.
Meanwhile, the status of areas already under isolation will continue as previously informed.
