The Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda cluster reached 7,185 Covid-19-positive cases on Saturday (31 October), according to the Department of Government Information.
According to a media release, 239 cases were reported on Saturday.
With the new development, Sri Lanka has confirmed 10,663 Covid-19-positive cases up to date, the Health Promotion Bureau (HPB) confirmed.
While a total of 21 deaths have been reported as at 1 November, the Epidemiology Unit said that 6,142 active cases are still receiving medical treatment at selected hospitals across the island.
Meanwhile, 4,399 confirmed patients have made complete recoveries and been discharged, according to HPB data.
