No decision has been taken to lift the curfew imposed in the Gampaha District today (26), Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva said yesterday (25).
He stated that necessary steps will be taken to allow the people to obtain essential items, while under quarantine curfew.
Areas where the curfew had been imposed for over three consecutive days will be given the opportunity to obtain essential items today, he had added.
