The continuous social movements have pushed the Covid-19 situation in the country to dangerous levels, Epidemiology Unit Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Sudath Samaraweera said.
Dr. Samaraweera noted that the only way to contain the virus from spreading is to limit social movements.
Health authorities are currently engaged in identifying areas where the virus is spreading and imposing quarantine curfew to contain the spread of Covid-19.
