During a 24-hour special operation carried out in the Western Province, 340 persons have been arrested for the possession of heroin and other narcotics.
The special operation had been carried out from 6 a.m. on Saturday (27) to 6 a.m. last morning (28) on the instructions of the Senior DIG of the Western Province.
Suspects have been arrested with narcotic substances such as heroin, cannabis, and ice, as well as illicit liquor and Goda.
