Cremation of COVID victims sans guardians to be done at govt.’s expense
The cremation of the bodies of those who died of COVID-19 infection without relatives and guardians will be done at the expense of the government, stated the Government Information Department in a statement.
The statement further said that several bodies of such victims have already been collected at government hospitals and morgues.
Following the President’s attention to this situation, it has been instructed that such bodies be cremated immediately at the expense of the Government in accordance with health and legal instructions.
