The All-Share Index Price (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) closed at 7,754.62 points with a 237.99 point gain yesterday (12), despite trading being restricted to a period of only two hours.
During the two hours that trading took place, from 10.30 a.m to 12.30 p.m., the ASPI saw a 3.17% gain, with a turnover of Rs. 1.19 billion.
Meanwhile, the S&P SL20 Index closed at 2,530.17, recording a gain of 87.12 points, which was a 3.57% increase.
By the time of market closure, the share volume was at the margin of 59,339,227.
