No announcement has been made on the date of re-opening of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
The CSE is closed today (22) following discussions between the CSE and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Sri Lanka held yesterday.
The CSE had just come out of a three-day week owing to Sinhala and Hindu New Year and Poya holidays on Monday and Friday respectively.The move to shut down the CSE was taken following yesterday’s Easter Sunday attacks targeting three churches and three five star hotels.
