Curfew which was in force from 12 midnight to 4 am daily will be lifted from today, the President's Media Division said.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa taking to his official twitter handle said, " With zero community spread of #Covid19 for over 2 months, it has been decided to remove the nightly curfew completely."
He said it was essential to adhere to health guidelines such as wearing a mask in public, adhering to social distancing guidelines and sanitizing hands at all times.
