The Special High Court has decided to take up the D.A. Rajapaksa Museum case against SLPP presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa on 9 January 2020.
Last Friday(11), the Supreme Court extended a stay order until 20 December 2019 preventing the Permanent High Court-at-Bar from hearing the case.
A case was filed against the former Defense Secretary in regard to the misappropriation of Rs. 33.9 million for the construction of the D.A. Rajapaksa Memorial and Museum in Medamulana.
