Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC announced Dr. K. S. Narangoda as their new Acting Chief Executive Officer effective 15 February, the company said in a Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) filing
Narangoda previously served The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards in an advisory consultant from 2015 to 2017. Narangoda has held many senior managerial positions in Sri Lanka such as Chief Operating Officer of Hemas Hospitals from 2007 to 2011, and Director/CEO of Browns Hospitals – Healthcare Sector from 2011 to 2015.
Narangoda completed his Master’s in Finance from Keele University, UK and is a member of Certified Professional Accountants (CPA), Australia. Narangoda has obtained his Bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the University of Peradeniya in 2003.
Dankotuwa factories, located in Dankotuwa and Kosgama, have been in existence for over three decades, and at present have a production capacity of 1.6 million pieces per month.
