The victorious David Pieris Group shuttlers[/caption]
David Pieris Group’s men’s badminton team emerged mercantile badminton champions 2021 in D Division at the recently concluded Mercantile Badminton Tournament. Its veterans’ team secured the fourth place in their category.
On their way to victory, David Pieris Group defeated Amana Bank and Douglas & Sons at the league stages. They beat NDB Bank in the semi-finals before beating Douglas & Sons in the finals.
The 37th Mercantile Badminton Tournament was held at the Mercantile Badminton Association in Colombo with the participation of 114 teams.
