The decision to lift the ongoing travel restrictions is in the hands of the people of the country and therefore, they must abide by quarantine regulations to assist the health sector in carrying out their duties, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated today (05).
Adding to this, DIG Rohana stressed that it will only be possible to reopen the country on 14 June if the people remain in their homes amidst this period. He also reiterated that the public should leave their homes only if they need to carry out essential work.
